You have probably come for the dogs but I hope you stay for the trees, the travel, the landscapes and whatever else I post (coming soon). Photography is a passion and also a means to make ends meet. But whether you purchase or not, I welcome you to browse through the slide shows and share my appreciation of our natural companions.

What I am trying to show is dogs as dogs and not as human constructs. I don't believe in the perfectly trained dog - I like it when dogs show their personalities which often as not does not fall within our ideas of good behavior. In other words, in a time when dogs are becoming ever more enslaved, and yet pampered, I want to illustrate their wildness, their ease in nature, their dog-ness, their canine perfection.

Just a couple of notes on using this site:

1. the Proof watermarks are removed when any photographs are printed

2. If you wish to purchase, or to investigate the options in purchasing, Select photo(s) and click on Buy. This will then load the options on size, framing, etc.. You can save yourself some time by selecting Best Fit which will narrow the options to those that work best for that picture's dimensions. You will see a picture of any options you choose. You can clear your choices or go back at any time.

3. I have allowed cropping but not color conversions.
