I am a photographer based in Edmonton, Canada, specializing in (but not restricted to) natural light pet photography. Though currently all the galleries are dog-related I am preparing non-canine galleries which will periodically be added to the collection.

You can also see my blog (https://dogaday.wordpress.com/) where some of these photos have already appeared in low res formats. Begun in May 2011, the blog promised to deliver a dog picture a day and is already stocked to finish through May 2012. I have not yet decided whether to continue or to fold that blog into this venue.

Focussing on dogs has arisen partly because of my lifelong love of dogs but also from the fact that taking up the camera again came as a way of amusing myself while on the thrice daily walks my new husky puppy (Migoto) required. For the first few years almost all the photos were taken while attached to the end of a leash. Once we were past the leash only stage I found that the dog-photography connection remained strong.

The river and creeks that feature in my photography were also discovered thanks to needing new places to walk with Migoto.
